Custom Recombinant Antibodies

 

Features of our recombinant antibodies include:

 

  • Reduced immunogenicity through species and isotype switching
  • Smaller size when produced as antibody fragments, which influences antigen binding or tissue penetration
  • Antigen crosslinking with bispecific recombinant antibodies.

Custom Recombinant Proteins

Our custom recombinant proteins include cytokines, growth factors, chemokines, and enzymes and are validated in-house to ensure reproducibility and biological activity.  

 

We provide the following custom recombinant protein services (from gene to protein):

 

  • Clone the target of interest into different expression vectors
  • Expression of protein of interest in bacteria, insect, or mammalian expression systems
  • Purification and/or endotoxin removal
  • Both in vivo and in vitro functional assay applications
  • Carrier-free or animal-free formats for functional assays or to avoid experimental variability

We internally compare new lots with previous lots for consistency. In addition, we also test our products against ones available from the competition. This ensures you can have full confidence when using our recombinant proteins.

Quality Testing

 

Our products undergo extensive quality testing to ensure activity and lot-to-lot consistency. Our testing includes protein content, purity and parameter confirmation using SDS-PAGE, HPLC, UV Spectroscopy and Mass Spec analyses. Protein solutions are also 0.2 μm-filtered prior to bottling by membrane filtration method to prevent microbial contamination.

 

 

Stability Testing

 

Our recombinants are stability tested at different temperatures and time intervals to determine the optimal storage, handling, and shipping conditions. Our testing shows that most recombinant proteins are able to withstand room temperature (RT) and 37°C for a week without losing activity. In addition, most of our recombinant proteins are also able to withstand four cycles of freeze and thaw without losing activity.
