    Immunofluorescence of His tagged plasmid transfected A549 cells with (A) mouse IgG1, κ isotype control (Negative, Cat. No. 401402) or (B-D) Biotin-His Mouse primary antibody (Clone 6-His). Alexa Fluor® 594 (Red) Streptavidin (Cat. No. 405240) was used as secondary antibody. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (Blue, Cat. No. 422801). The image was captured with a 60X objective using KEYENCE BZ-X700 fluorescence microscope. Exposure time (Seconds) for (A) is 1/30, (B, D) is 1/500 and (C) is 1/800. Concentrations for (A-C) is 1 µg/ml, (D) is 0.5 µg/ml.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. For Western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.5 - 1.0 µg per mL (1:1000-1:2000 dilution). For immunocytochemistry, a concentration range of 0.5 - 1.0 μg/mL (1:1000-1:2000 dilution) is recommended. For immunoprecipitation, the suggested use of this reagent is 1:150 dilution. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Application Notes

The sequence of the protein flanking the poly His tag does not influence antibody binding. This antibody was subsequently purified via a protein-G column.
