4F3-A8-D9_PURE_TBLR1_Antibody_1_120219
Western blot of purified anti-TBLR1 antibody (clone 4F3-A8-D9). Lane 1: Molecular weight marker; Lane 2: 20 µg of mouse brain nuclear lysate; Lane 3: 20 µg of rat brain nuclear lysate. The blot was incubated with 0.5 µg/mL of the primary antibody overnight at 4°C, followed by incubation with HRP goat anti-mouse IgG antibody (Cat. No. 405306). Enhanced chemiluminescence was used as the detection system.

Description

TBLR1 is a member of the WD40 repeat-containing family of proteins. It shares similarity with TBL1 in sequence, and is believed to be a component of the complex of nuclear corepressor and HDAC3. TBLR1 is involved in signaling pathway during development through the regulation of chromatin acetylation. It is also associated with diseases including pierpont syndrome, mental retardation, and autism spectrum disorders.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by western blotting. For western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 0.2 - 0.5 µg/mL. For immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, a concentration range of 5.0 - 10 µg/mL is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
