Microtubule-associated protein 6 (MAP6), also known as stable tubule-only polypeptide or STOP, is a calmodulin-binding protein that is involved in microtubule stabilization and is also regulated by calmodulin. MAP6 regulates lysosomal trafficking and is involved in dendrite maintenance and morphogenesis.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by Western blotting. For Western blotting, the suggested use of this reagent is 1 - 5 µg per ml. For immunohistochemistry, a concentration range of 5 - 10 µg/ml is suggested. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Application Notes

This antibody is effective in immunoblotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC-P).
