Poly28635_PURE_ADH1_Antibody_1_102319
Western blot of purified anti-ADH1 antibody (Poly28635). Lane 1: Molecular weight marker; Lane 2: 20 µg of human liver lysate; Lane 3: 5 µg of mouse liver lysate; Lane 4: 10 µg of rat liver lysate. The blot was incubated with 0.5 µg/mL of the primary antibody overnight at 4°C, followed by incubation with HRP Donkey anti-rabbit IgG Antibody (Cat. No. 406401). Enhanced chemiluminescence was used as the detection system.

Description

ADH1 is the γ subunit of class I alcohol dehydrogenase. The alcohol dedydrogenase family is involved in metabolization of a variety of substrates, including ethanol and lipid peroxidation products. ADH1 is related to the signaling pathway of cytochrome P450 metabolism. It is also associated with several diseases including late-onset Parkinson Disease.
