Recombinant human IFN-γ (Cat. No. 570206) (black circles) decreased the cell viability of HT-29 cells with recombinant human TNF-α (Cat. No. 570106) at 0.1 µg/mL. Ultra-LEAF™ purified anti-human IFN-γ (clone W19171A) (purple squares) reverses the effect of recombinant human IFN-γ at 0.08 µg/mL and recombinant human TNF-α at 0.1 µg/mL on HT-29 cells in a dose-dependent manner, whereas the Ultra-LEAF™ purified rat IgG2b, κ isotype control (Cat. No. 400644) (gray triangles) does not have the effect. ND50 range : 1 - 5 μg/mL

Description

Interferon-γ is a potent multifunctional cytokine which is secreted primarily by activated NK cells and T cells. Originally characterized based on anti-viral activities, IFN-γ demonstrates anti-proliferative, immunoregulatory, and proinflammatory activities. IFN-γ can upregulate MHC class I and II antigen expression by antigen-presenting cells.
