Recombinant mouse IFN-γ (Cat. No. 575304) (black circles) binds to immobilized recombinant mouse IFNGR1-Fc chimera. Ultra-LEAF™ purified anti-mouse IFN-γ (clone A20134A) (purple squares) inhibits the binding in a dose-dependent manner, whereas the Ultra-LEAF™ purified rat IgG2a, κ isotype control (Cat. No. 400544) (gray triangles) does not have this effect. This antibody inhibits the binding of 0.025 µg/mL recombinant mouse IFN-γ (Cat. No. 575304) to 1 µg/mL immobilized recombinant mouse IFNGR1-Fc chimera. ND50 range: 0.015 - 0.08 µg/mL.

Interferon-γ is a potent multifunctional cytokine which is secreted primarily by activated NK cells and T cells. Originally characterized based on anti-viral activities, IFN-γ also exerts anti-proliferative, immunoregulatory, and proinflammatory activities. IFN-γ can upregulate MHC class I and II antigen expression by antigen-presenting cells.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control by inhibiting the binding of 0.025 µg/mL recombinant mouse IFN-γ (Cat. No 575304) to 1 µg/mL immobilized recombinant mouse IFNGR1 (Fc Tag). ND50 range: 0.015 - 0.08 µg/mL. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
