QA20A28_ULEAF_IFN-gamma_Antibody_091522
Recombinant mouse IFN-γ (Cat. No. 575302) (black circles) binds to immobilized recombinant mouse IFNGR1 (Fc Tag). Ultra-LEAF™ Purified anti-mouse IFN-γ recombinant (clone QA20A28) (purple squares) inhibits the binding in a dose-dependent manner, whereas the Ultra-LEAF™ purified rat IgG1, κ isotype control (Cat. No. 400432) (gray triangles) does not have the effect. This antibody blocks the binding of 0.025 µg/mL of recombinant mouse IFN-γ (Cat. No. 575302) to 1 µg/mL immobilized recombinant mouse IFNGR1 (Fc Tag). ND50 range: 0.009 - 0.05 µg/mL.

Description

Interferon-γ is a potent multifunctional cytokine which is secreted primarily by activated NK cells and T cells. Originally characterized based on anti-viral activities, IFN-γ also exerts anti-proliferative, immunoregulatory, and proinflammatory activities. IFN-γ can upregulate MHC class I and II antigen expression by antigen-presenting cells.
