Recombinant mouse IL-2 (black circles) (Cat. No. 575406) induces the proliferation of HT-2 mouse cells. Anti-mouse IL-2 recombinant antibody (purple squares) (clone QA19A06) inhibits the effect of recombinant mouse IL-2 at 10 ng/mL in HT-2 mouse cells in a dose-dependent manner whereas the isotype control (gray triangles) (Cat. No. 400193) does not have the effect. The ND50 = 0.2 - 1 µg/mL.

IL-2 is a potent lymphoid cell growth factor which exerts its biological activity primarily on T cells. Additionally, IL-2 has been found to stimulate growth and differentiation of B cells, NK cells, LAK cells, monocytes, and oligodendocytes.

- Storage & Handling

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by the inhibition of proliferation induced by mouse recombinant IL-2 (10 ng/mL) on mouse HT-2 cells. ND50 range: 0.2 - 1 µg/mL. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
