Description

Vβ5 T cell receptor (TCR Vβ5) is a variant of the TCR β chain which is heterodimerized with TCR α chain and expressed on a subset of αβ+ T cells. TCR α/β recognizes peptides presented by the MHC molecules and initiates T cell mediated immune responses. Patients with multiple sclerosis present an expansion of Vβ5.2+/5.3+ autoreactive T cells.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤2.0 µg per million cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
