Description

CD4 is a 55 kDa, type I glycoprotein expressed by tymocytes, helper T cells (Th), plasmacytoid dendritic cells (also known as natural interferon-producing cells or NIPC). In Pigs there a CD4+/CD8+ double positive subset that increase with age and have characteristics of memory T cells.

Recommended Usage

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.125 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.

Application Notes

Clone 74-12-4 recognizes the allele CD4.A in swine T cells.
