Clone QA20A71 recombinant monoclonal antibody recognizes the rat CD68, also known as macrosialin, is a 110 kD integral membrane glycoprotein from the lysosomal-associated membrane protein (LAMP) family. It is predominantly expressed on the intracellular lysomsomes of monocytes and macrophages, and is considered a pan-macrophage marker in the rat. CD68 may have functions relating to phagocytic activities of tissue macrophages, both in intracellular lysosomal metabolism and extracellular cell-cell and cell-pathogen interactions.

ICFC - Quality tested
- Recommended Usage
-
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
- Application Notes
-
Clone QA20A71 can completely block the binding of parental clone to target cells. Both Cyto-Fast™ Fix/Perm Buffer Set and True-Nuclear™ Transcription Factor Buffer Set work well. This clone does not react to human and mouse.
