C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes were stained with anti-mouse CD3 (clone 145.2c11) APC and Ultra-LEAF™ purifed anti-mouse CD90 (Thy1) (clone W18103A) (left) or purified rat IgG2c, κ isotype control (right) followed by goat anti-rat IgG PE. C57BL/6 mice express the CD90.2 variant of CD90. -
FVB mouse splenocytes were stained with anti-mouse CD3 (clone 145.2c11) APC and Ultra-LEAF™ purifed anti-mouse CD90 (Thy1) (clone W18103A) (left) or purified rat IgG2c, κ isotype control (right) followed by goat anti-rat IgG PE. FVB mice express the CD90.1 variant of CD90.
CD90, also known as Thy-1, is a 25-35 kD immunoglobulin superfamily member. It is expressed on hematopoietic stem cells and neurons, all thymocytes, and peripheral T cells, but not on B cells. CD90 is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane glycoprotein involved in signal transduction. CD90 is involved in costimulation of lymphocyte proliferation and activation, and hematopoietic stem cell differentiation. CD90 has been shown to interact with CD45.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.125 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
