C57BL/6 whole blood was stained with CD45, CD41,CD61 and purified CD321 (clone 90G4) (filled histogram) or rat IgG2a, κ isotype control (open histogram) followed by anti-rat IgG2a PE. Histograms are gated on CD45-CD41+CD61+ cells.

CD321, also known as Junctional Adhesion Molecule A (JAM-A), JAM-1, or F11 Receptor, is a 32-40 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein which belongs to the immunoglobin superfamily. It is expressed broadly on leukocytes, platelets, erythrocytes, and epithelial and endothelial cells. CD321 plays a role in cell adhesion, leukocyte migration, and angiogenesis, through its interactions with integrins, such as LFA-1 and αvβ3 integrins.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is ≤ 0.25 µg per million cells in 100 µL volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
