HeLa cells were fixed with cold 100% methanol for 10 minutes, and blocked with 5% FBS for 60 minutes. Then the cells were intracellularly stained overnight at 4 degrees without (A) or with (B-D) 1:1000 diluted purified anti-GPP130 (Poly19238) antibody followed by (A and B) 1:50 diluted (10 µg/mL), (C) 1:100 diluted (5 µg/mL) and (D) 1:200 diluted (2.5 µg/mL) Alexa Fluor® 594 anti-rabbit IgG Antibody (red) staining for 1 hour at room temperature. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI. The image was captured with a 60X objective.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunocytochemistry. For immunocytochemistry, a concentration range of 2.5 - 10 μg/mL is recommended. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
* Alexa Fluor® 594 has an excitation maximum of 590 nm, and a maximum emission of 617 nm.

IgG antibodies are large molecules of about 150 kD made of four peptide chains. It contains two identical class γ heavy chains of about 50 kD and two identical light chains of about 25 kD.
Distribution
Secreted, B cell surface
Function
Antibodies are major components of humoral immunity. IgG is the main type of antibody found in blood and extracellular fluid allowing it to control infection of body tissues. By binding many kinds of pathogens such as viruses, bacteria, and fungi, IgG protects the body from infection.
