CD44v5, also known as CD44 isoform 5, is a CD44 isoform containing exon10. CD44 is an adhesion molecule involved with multiple functions, including lymphocyte activation, cell-matrix interactions particularly hyaluronic acid, and as a marker of effector memory T-Cells. CD44v5 may be an indicator for tumor presence and progression in certain cancers, such as colon, thymus, breast, and prostate.

-
Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per million cells in 100 µL staining volume or 5 µL per 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
